With over 30 years in nursing experience and twenty years as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Christine brings specialized expertise in translating complex medical-legal cases. Her background encompasses adult critical care, trauma, pulmonary medicine, advanced practice, and academia roles across multiple health systems.

Christine began her nursing journey in 1991 as a Licensed Practical Nurse before advancing to Registered Nurse in 1995. She earned her BSN from Florida International University (1999), her MSN with specialization as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Barry University (2005), and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Health Systems Executive Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh (2021).
As a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC), Christine provides litigation support and serves as a testifying expert by assisting attorneys in clarifying complex medical cases into clear and credible insights. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program, where she educates and mentors future nurse practitioners.

 

An accomplished medical-legal and healthcare writer, Christine has contributed chapters to Pat Iyer’s Medical Record Analysis: A Guide for Attorneys by Expert LNCs, addressing topics such as:

  • “The Impact of Medication Errors due to Communication Failures in the Critical Care Setting (2022)”
  • “The Challenges of Copying and Pasting (2023)”

Christine maintains active memberships with the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC), Greater Orlando AALNC (GOAALNC), Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
